How do all! I hope you have had a wunnerful day!

My Soap Making attempt!

Goodbye January and hello February!  Did that go quick or what?  I am still on Christmas morning lol!! Now what did I achieve in January?  Well I went and met a friend in Huntingdon and so I discovered a new place.  It was really lovely there and I had a really wonderful time. I also brought myself a drill so I can put up my own pictures ( or try) without having to rely on others.  Now all I have to do is learn how to use it.

While I was out blog hopping like a little bunny I came across a really lovely site called Pilli Pilli.  I think you should check out her blog.  I think you might be pleasantly pleased.

Do you know why I love reading blogs so much?  No?  Well I shall be kind and tell you. Because I am kind like that!!

I love to venture in to other people’s lives.
I love to see all the new creativity that people are trying out.
Some bloggers are so generous they even share their homes.
Some bloggers are really great bloggers and lift my spirits.
Some bloggers are hilarious and give me a good laugh.
Some bloggers share their family.
Some bloggers share new recipes.
Some bloggers share how to do things.
All bloggers share their personal experiences.
And all bloggers make me feel just a little bit like I am part of something they have shared.  It’s a great feeling.

I am sure there are many more reasons why I love to read blogs.  But I am also really naughty.  Everyday I read my feeds and I giggle, ooo and ahh over the lovely reads.  Yet, I don’t really appreciate these bloggers who bother to sit and write for people to read or on a more personal note me to read.  And I can’t even be asked to click on their page and tell them how wonderful their post was.  I think I don’t do this for many reasons.  One being that I am quite insecure.  I tend not to say things just in case I say the wrong thing.  Mostly I cant put my words down.  But I am going to try and comment more often.  Especially to thank a blogger who has shared a tutorial I might try out. Maybe just to say hi.

So there you have me and my love for the good ole blogger..

Tell me why you blog and what you get from blogging?  It would be great to hear your thoughts!

Have a great evening x

……lazy bum extraordinaire!

I am so loving stumble upon.  It’s kind of addictive, and while I have been cooped up and generally no energy I have been stumbling quite a bit.

My latest find is a really lovely site called Gracious Rain.  What a great Blog name too. Launi is a wonderfully generous crafter.  She shares all kinds of crafting information and also tutorials.  Be sure to check her out.  I know I will be going back.

You know what else I am loving and that the new Windows Live Writer.  It’s so easy peasy lemon squeasy. I think it’s the easiest way I have blogged for years.  I don’t even have to leave my desktop or log into anywhere.  I just type and click.  And there is no uploading of pics. So for me lazy bum extraordinaire it’s the perfect lazy bum extraordinaire solution.  If i knew it was this easy I would have clicked on it way before now lol..

So I’ve been feeling a bit poo of late, well to be honest the dreaded lurgy has been graced upon me, and I dunno about you but my spirits seem to plummet into the ground.

I’m Here!

Howdy all, at last I have moved all my stuff over to blogger.  Not that I have stopped blogging.  It’s just that hosting is becoming more expensive these days and I must admit I don’t blog as often as I would like.

Anyhooo I haven’t seen you since last year, so I am hoping you all had a fabulous Christmas and wonderful new year.  I didn’t set any goals this year.  I never set any goals any year to be honest.  Simply because I think that goal setting can be achieved anytime through out the year, and if you do happen to stray from them you are not gonna feel like a big blooping failure, just because you broke a new years resolution.

Our Christmas was great, but it was the time when a great sickness hit our humble home.  Charlie boy was sick from Christmas eve right up until a few days before he went back to school.  Then Sonny boy, picked up the slack and was ill for a week, then Charlie was sick again, and Sonny, then Mum and Me.  So basically for a month I have been playing Florence Nightingale, or sick patient.  I’m pretty much bored of it now.

Anyhooo today I was stumbling away from my bed of death and I came across this really wonderful site.  I think you might be interested in.  There are lots of patterns and some tutorials. It’s called My Picot and the patterns there are really lovely indeed.  Have a check out and let me know.  This is one of my favourites.  I don't think my crocheting skills have reached this standard yet put even so, I would not hesitate to have a go.

Here’s hoping you have a wonderful day x

Hoo Are You # 30

1. Do you wear glasses or contacts, if so for how long?

I wore correction glasses when I was younger.  I have elongated shaped lenses so things were slightly fuzzy.  Now I only where them for close work, like sewing.

2. What was your favorite board game as a kid?

I loved monopoly, but i really wanted to play mousetrap, but by the time it was set up I was bored with it, so I never got to play that LOL!!

3. What is a word that you use all the time?

Blimey!  I use it for everything lol, I used a few other choice words that I am not going to tar my halo telling you about

4. What is your favorite day of the week?

Sunday.  It’s the only day of the week I get to do whatever I choose to do.  Most of these Sundays are really lazy, I get up shower and then slip into a lovely pair of snuggly jimmy jam’s..

5. Did you graduate high school from the town you grew up in?

Nope I never graduated school, I was a drop out, which I later regretted and still do.  But ho hum such is life.  It’s a shame I learned a bit too late..

Thank you Leslie xx
