Another week

Another week is over and I must say it has been a struggle for me.  It's been a long hard week filled with confusion, despair, frustration and most of all disappointment.. I had to make a few decisions that reflect so much in my life but the good news is that I shall repair piece by piece, because even though you have a little bit of rough, it makes the smooth even smoother lol..  I will not stress out on why things happen, God only knows why these things happen and they happen for a reason.  Lets keep our fingers crossed that the reason is a good one..

I have actually been cleaning mostly this week, trying to brush out some cobwebs.  I had Essex Country & Village Homes come and value my property to go up for sale..  Fingers crossed that this year is my new leaf and I shall be moving on to pastures greener..

Mum had a baby shower to attend this week, which I helped with.  Those who know me know I am not the most maternal person in the world lol.  Even though I love the little ones, I also like to keep them at arms length. I don't know why, my babies were the only babies I ever cooed over if that makes any sense at all..  I mean I love babies and I love kids, I just love them from very far away LOL!! Ok I just get all broody really LOL!!

I taught my little adopted Daughter, Miss Ev to knit.  she is so fast and picked it up really quickly.  I was so proud of her..  I sent her home with a bundle of needles and some wool..  I can't wait to see what she has knitted..

Today has been a lazy ole day I haven't really done much of anything.  I'm really into my embroidery and have been simply stitching away while I had the house to myself.  I did order some patterns from The Fat Quarters by Cinderberry Stitches.

I'm still waiting for my Art of Crochet *Screams in frustration, flicks hair out of my eyes to carry on*  I tell you if it's not here tomorrow I will be on the blower (telephone) to give them a piece of my mind..  I have received the first issue and no more *wails and cries*

Ok bad week over, a new one begins.  I am going to turn every negative into a positive because thats what I do best.. Lets hope that next Sunday my blog has a lot happier feel too it..

Have a great week xx

  1. I hope this week is better for you too!

I just wanted to pop over and thank you for your fantastically kind and useful comment on my blog; the points you've made echo everything that I feel when I go round craft fairs - pushy stalholders do my head in, as do scruffy pitches. I do slightly doubt mny ability to get it all done before Saturday but I'm going to give it my best!

Do say hello if you manage to make it to Swaffham Prior :-)

I just wanted to thank you for your lovely and supportive comment on my blog. Your thoughts about craft stalls exactly echo my own - I do worry it's going to look a bit rubbish, and I'm not at all sure I can get everything done in time but I'm going to give it my best shot!
