My Soap Making attempt!

Goodbye January and hello February!  Did that go quick or what?  I am still on Christmas morning lol!! Now what did I achieve in January?  Well I went and met a friend in Huntingdon and so I discovered a new place.  It was really lovely there and I had a really wonderful time. I also brought myself a drill so I can put up my own pictures ( or try) without having to rely on others.  Now all I have to do is learn how to use it.

While I was out blog hopping like a little bunny I came across a really lovely site called Pilli Pilli.  I think you should check out her blog.  I think you might be pleasantly pleased.

Do you know why I love reading blogs so much?  No?  Well I shall be kind and tell you. Because I am kind like that!!

I love to venture in to other people’s lives.
I love to see all the new creativity that people are trying out.
Some bloggers are so generous they even share their homes.
Some bloggers are really great bloggers and lift my spirits.
Some bloggers are hilarious and give me a good laugh.
Some bloggers share their family.
Some bloggers share new recipes.
Some bloggers share how to do things.
All bloggers share their personal experiences.
And all bloggers make me feel just a little bit like I am part of something they have shared.  It’s a great feeling.

I am sure there are many more reasons why I love to read blogs.  But I am also really naughty.  Everyday I read my feeds and I giggle, ooo and ahh over the lovely reads.  Yet, I don’t really appreciate these bloggers who bother to sit and write for people to read or on a more personal note me to read.  And I can’t even be asked to click on their page and tell them how wonderful their post was.  I think I don’t do this for many reasons.  One being that I am quite insecure.  I tend not to say things just in case I say the wrong thing.  Mostly I cant put my words down.  But I am going to try and comment more often.  Especially to thank a blogger who has shared a tutorial I might try out. Maybe just to say hi.

So there you have me and my love for the good ole blogger..

Tell me why you blog and what you get from blogging?  It would be great to hear your thoughts!

Have a great evening x

  3. why blogging around , ... mmmm .... mostly same reasons as yours ... I enjoy discovering new talents, I love looking at all the beautiful crafts around and sometimes keeping ideas from them I could apply in the future (mm .. a long long list of "I could do" I've never time to do in fact !)... I love visiting places through their eyes too (this morning it was D.C.'s Metro for example ...) ... well, perhaps just because it's a shine in a grey life ...
Beautiful soaps paula !! love the rose buttons inside !

  4. Thank you Heidi, I'm really happy to see you here. And Sian welome to my blog. Thank you for taking the time out to visit me.

Nads hi old friends we are lol.. I think you are right though, some blogs just give you a little bit of sunshine.

The soaps were easy to make. I got the microwaveable melting soap (natural of course) and added in some scent and a few other natural bits and bobs.. Took about 3 minutes to melt and 2 hours too set. Easy, peasy, lemon squeasy x
